| Spell | Magic Used | Cost (Research) | Description |
| Haste | 50 | 500 | Increases the speed of a unit to the speed of an ogre, any unit that is already the speed of an ogre or faster will not be affected. It can be seen by a lightning bolt logo on the unit. |
| Death Coil | 100 | 0 | First spell a Death Knight starts with. It drains the life of the target and gives it to the casting death knight. |
| Unholy Armor | 100 | 2500 | Give the unit it is cast on invincibility. It can be seen by a shield logo on the unit. |
| Wirlwind | 100 | 1500 | When this is cast a wirlwind appears where the caster selected as it's target. This then moves around totally randomly and destroys anything in it's path. |
| Raise Dead | 50 | 1500 | By far the most powerful of all the death knights spells. This spell allows you to make a skeleton of any decaying carcas, either your's or an enimies, that you can control and use as an extra unit. They don't eat and have the same damage as a grunt so are fairly powerful, especially when used with other spells, such as blood lust and unholy armor. |
| Death and Decay | 25 | 2000 | This spell makes an area start to bubble and decay and destroys anything in the area. It is an auto cast spell so the death knight will continue to cast it on the same place so it lasts longer and better covers the area until you click stop or he runs out of magic. It can be used for taking out buildings, especially towers, as it can be cast from a larger range than a catapult. |

| Eye of Kilrogg | 70 | 0 | This spell creates an eye of kilrogg. They can be used to explore maps quickly, they are an air unit and are extremely fast, the fastes unit in the game, second being a zepplin. They only last for a short time, however, so you have to be quick with them. |
| Bloodlust | 50 | 1000 | When cast on a unit it increases his damage and hitpoints for a limited time, making him more powerful and so should be able to eaisly kill another unit of the same, or equivelent type (eg. a grunt with bloodlust could kill a footman eaisly). It is shown by a blood logo on the unit. |
| Runes | 200 | 1000 | This spell works like land mines. When cast on an area it places 5 mines in a diamond shape. When a unit (yours or the enemy) it explodes and kills the unit. |
